Skoganvärre -Tromsø

Aamupalalle jo perinteisesti klo 6:00, taivas on pilvinen vaan eipä sada.

Lähdemme liikkeelle klo 7 Lakselvin kautta Altaa. Ennen Lakselvia oli pieni tietyömaa jossa pintakerros oli hyvin pientä ja liukasta sepeliä. Etupyörä pyrki vatkaamaan vaan kaikki selvisivät kunnialla työmaan ohi.

Kävimme katsomassa lentokentän vieressä kallioon tehtyjä tykkiasemia ja niiden luolastoja, tosin vain ulkoa päin kun olivat ovet kiinni.

Seuraavaksi pysähdyimme lentovenesataman raunioiden luona ja matka jatkui Altan Kåfjordin Tirpitz museoon.

Pariin pyörään jouduttiin vaihtamaan Altassa uudet renkaat kun vanhoilla ei olisi kotiin saakka päässyt.

Tromssaan mennessä reitillämme oli kaksi lossia jotka olivat onneksi riittävän suuria niin että kaikki jonottajat mahtuivat mukaan.

Vähän ennen Tromssaa alkoi sataa, onneksi ei kovin rankasti mutta yhdessä voimakkaan tuulen kanssa sade ei tuntunut järin mukavalta.

Hotellille saavuttaessa kävi ilmi että parkkihallissa ei ollutkaan kuin muutama vapaa parkkiruutu, luovalla ryhmittäytymisellä lähes puolet pyöristä saatiin kuitenkin sopimaan halliin.

Ajallisesti pitkälle päivälle kertyi mittaa 497 km.

Breakfast traditionally at 06:00, cloudy but dry.

On the road 7:00 towards Lakselv and Alta. Before Lakselv a short road construction site where road covered by small diameter very slippery gravel. The front tire tried to wobble but everyone survived it.  

We stopped to see cannon stations inside the rock near by airport but as the doors we sealed only from outside

Next we stopped to see ruins of water airplane port and after that the Tirpitz museum of Alta Kåfjord.

A couple of bikes had so worn out tires that they had to buy new ones in Alta as home was too far away for the old tires…

On the way to Tromsø there was two ferries, luckily big enough so that everyone queuing got in.

Just before Tromsø started to rain, luckily not heyvily but together with the wind it did not feel so nice.

As we arrived to the hotel we found out that the parking hall had only a couple free places but using creative parking we could get almost half of the bikes inside.

Today we rode 497 km but the day was really long.
