Mikkeli - Rovaniemi

Herään aamulla siihen että aurinko paistaa silmiin.
Ei kun ylös ja aamupalalle, tavaroiden viimeinen lajittelu ja pyörän pakkaaminen.
Kahdeksalta liikkeelle, ensimmäinen pysähdys Oravikoskella Hanxin myymälässä josta mukaan lähtee windstopper paita ja uudet hanskat.
Kuopion ja Iisalmen kautta Tupoksen ABC:lle jossa tapaan Mikan.
Matka jatkui Oulun keskustaan missä vaihdoin vähän Norjan kruunuja.
Torniossa taivas tummeni mutta onnistuimme  väistämään sateen ja Rovaniemellä paistoi taas aurinko. Päivän aikana kiusannut voimakas puuskittainen tuulikin vaimeni eikä +12 asteen lämpötila tuntunut ollenkaan hassummalta.
Majoittuimme Sokos Hotelli Vaakunaan ja suoraan saunaan.
Päivälle kertyi mittaa 680 km.
Saunan jälkeen kävelemään Rovaniemen keskustaan Lordi aukiolle ja Hemingway pubiin olusille...

Myöhemmin hotellilla tapasimme pari jutaukseen osallistuvaa kaveria.

Valokuvia ei tänään tullut otettua, mutta huomenna lupaan parantaa tapani!

I woke up as sun is shining directly to my eyes.

Just to get up and make breakfast, last checking of clothes and materials to take with me and packing the bike.

Start up at 8:00, first stop in Hanx factory at Oravikoski where I bought wind stopper shirt and new pair of gloves.

Then via Kuopio and Iisalmi to Tupos ABC station where I met Mika.

Our ride continued to center of Oulu where I changed some Norwegian crones.

At Tornio the sky turned dark but we managed to avoid the rain and before Rovaniemi sun was shining again. The strong gust wind that was bothering the riding during the day calmed down and the temperature of +12 Celsius degrees was not bad at all.
Today I rode 680 km.

We stayed in Sokos hotel Vaakuna and the first thing to do was to go to sauna.

After sauna a walk in the center of Rovaniemi  at the square of Lordi and the for a beer at Hemingway pub…

Later at hotel we met a couple of lads taking part of the ride.
