Motorbike tour to Norway June 2015

Ensimmäinen lomapäivä, klo soi 05:00. Aamupalan jälkeen työpaikan autohalliin, ajokamppeet päälle ja menoksi 06:45.
Pietarilaiset eivät olleet oikein vielä heränneet joten ajo kaupungista ulos Skandinavian valtatielle sujui varsin sujuvasti.
Matka jatkui kohti Viipuria suomalaisittain reiluhkolla nopeudella samalla kun sää kirkastui sateen loppuessa, tankki täyteen halpaa bensaa ja rajalle.
Rajalla ei juurikaan ruuhkaa ja alle puolessa tunnissa olin jo Suomen puolella ja kohta Lappeenranssa.
Kahvilla vanhempieni luona ja taas tienpäälle Mikkeliin.
Rantakoneella uudet Misukat alle, alkuperäisillä Battewingeillä ajoin 14400 km ja pintaa olisi ollut vielä jäljellä vaan ei riittävästi huomenna alkavaa Norjan reissua varten.
Eka reissupäivän saldo 346 km.

Viime syksynä olin mukana McHuurteen järjestämällä Talvisota 1 jutauksella ja siellä tuli jossain vaiheessa puheeksi reissu pohjois Norjaan ihmettelemään II-maailmansodan aikaisia rakennelmia ja sota romujen jäänteitä.
Mikan kanssa päätimme osallistua jutaukseen ja tässä sitä nyt sitten ollaan valmiina matkalle pohjoiseen Kaamasen tielle.

AVJ15 jutaus alkaa Kaamasesta lauantaina ja meidän kahden osalta päättyy Tromssaan keskiviikkona jossa eroamme jutausporukasta ja jatkamme omaa Norjan kierrostamme Pekan, Helenan ja Jorman kanssa Lofooteille ja sieltä Keski-Norjaan Atlantin tielle, Trollstigenille ja Geiranger vuonolle.
Tarkoitus on ehtiä takaisin Suomeen juhannukseksi.

First summer holiday day, wake-up at 05:00. After breakfast to my office garage changing the riding suit and on the road at 06:45.

The citizens of St.Petersburg have not really waked up so riding out from town to Scandinavian highway went smoothly.

I rode to Wyborg using relatively high speed compared to the limits in Finland meanwhile the rain stopped, fueled cheap petrol and come to the border of Finland.

Practically no queue at the border and less than in half hour I was in Finland.

A coffee break with my parents and again on the way to Mikkeli.

At company Rantakone I got new tires to my bike, with the original Battewings I rode 14400km and there was yet some rubber left but no way enough for our ride to Norway starting tomorrow.

Last autumn I took part to ride organized by McHuurre  in Kuhmo Finland exploring of remains of winter war 1939 – 1940 and there rose the idea to go to northern Norway to explore remains of World War II.

Together with Mika we decided to take part of this riding and here we are now ready to ride up north.

This riding starts at Kaamanen on Saturday and we two will leave the main group on next Wednesday in Tromso as Pekka, Helena and Jorma  will join us and we'll continue our ride to Lofotes and then to central Norway to Atlantic road, Trollstigen ang Geiranger fjord.

Our aim is to get back to Finland by Mid summer weekend.
